Retreat & Event Booking Terms and Conditions

1. BOOKING & PAYMENT

• A 10% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm any booking.

• The remaining balance must be paid in full 4 weeks prior to the retreat/event.

• Bookings made less than 4 weeks in advance require full upfront payment.

• The organizer is responsible for group coordination and meeting payment deadlines.

2. WHAT'S INCLUDED

• Accommodation (shared or private)

• Use of communal indoor & outdoor spaces

• Free Wi-Fi, filtered drinking water, hot water

• Fully equipped kitchen

• Cleaning materials and supplies

• One change of bed linen and towels per guest (for a minimum 7 days stay)

3. NOT INCLUDED (OPTIONAL EXTRAS)

Optional services (e.g. catering, excursions, workshops) need to be pre-booked and paid prior to

arrival.

4. RESPONSIBILITIES

Retreat Organizers:

• Responsible for room allocations, participant suitability, and payment collection.

• Must verify that participants are mentally and physically fit to join.

Guests:

• No shoes on wooden floors indoors

• Follow local recycling practices (guests must dispose of own rubbish at nearby bins)

• Do not flush toilet paper — use designated bins

• Report any accidents or damages immediately

• Replace any broken or damaged items before departure

• Pets live on the property; please be mindful

• Smoking allowed only outdoors

5. SECURITY DEPOSIT

• A €350 refundable security deposit is required.

• Will be returned after departure, following property inspection.

6. INSURANCE

• Guests must have personal insurance.

• MaGea holds third-party liability insurance for on-site incidents.

7. CANCELLATION POLICY

• Deposit is non-refundable.

• Cancellations made:

◦ ≥60 days before event: 100% refund of remaining balance

◦ 30–59 days: 50% refund of balance

◦ <30 days: no refund

• If MaGea cancels the event: full refund including deposit

8. FORCE MAJEURE

MaGea is not liable for cancellations caused by events beyond its control (natural disasters,

pandemics, etc.). In such cases:

• We offer a 50% refund of the deposit or

• A free rescheduling of the booking

9. LIABILITY

• MaGea is not responsible for personal injuries or lost items during retreats, events or travel

to/from the venue.

• Guests are responsible for having proper travel documents.

10. PRIVACY POLICY

MaGea complies with GDPR and does not share client data with third parties.

11. COMPLAINTS

Any problems during your stay should be reported immediately to the host so that they can be

resolved promptly.

12. PHOTOGRAPHY

By attending, guests consent to being photographed or filmed for promotional use by MaGea

unless they opt out in writing.
